hey all getting in to the game, im a big Paintball guy so im kinda in the loop some! I want to build a nice cannon to shoot a tennis ball for my dog since im a wuss lol, also i want to build some monster of power with muscle and lots of distance lol. this is just for fun!

where can i get that trigger set up on the main video "sup shot"?

current idea is to use my shop compressor for power but would i need a regulator if i ran a line to the cannon and kept it hooked up for faster shooting?

is there a big difference between air and gas like propane? are there big differences?

my bro did some computer work and says we need to wrap the cannon with fiber glass to help make it stronger to help it not blow up?

psi pressure in plastic pipe? how much to use and what is a good size tank to build for it? if i make a very large one then i can fill to amount, but when i fire it then all of "X" will come out... so can i put a reg on to where only so much comes out per time? what reg would i use?

any links to good threads(im sure they r all good) that can get me the knowledge with parts and types of good material to use. threads that break down the differences between different cannon types whats safe to do and not to do!

any help and ifo would be great i dont want to/ or someone get hurt because we dont know

Thanks guys?

If you're at that point - please please please just transition to a metal pressure chamber. The process of filament wrapping a pressure vessel is much more advanced than simply "wrapping it in fiberglass".

I'm so confused, are you building a plastic hybrid? :? The gun in the video is a combustion and the trigger is for ignition but you are talking about power it with a compressor...
Also people here just use pvc pipe for combustions and shop compressor presssure level pneumatics... Why the fiber glass?
Unless you're building a hybrid, then you do need the ignition and compressor.
