I basically never posted, but I am currently building a QEV/Slide valve gun and I am sort of lost. I've looked up many models and I believe I understand the QEV but I would like to know what parts I would need to make the basic gun.
I have:
QEV (QE-04)
Slide Valve (1/2")
What parts do I need? Where do I hook up everything?

If you've looked at many models, you shouldn't need to ask that question.
You really do need to be able to figure that out on your own, nuff said...

basic parts are:
reservoir.
valve.
barrel.
Easiest way to hold them together would be threading.

Just being honest. How are new members going to handle this hobby safely if they can't figure out the very basics on their own? It's the spoonfeeding issue we have been dealing with for years. No offense intended, I should have clarified, my bad but I make no apologies, it's for the innocents own good. Know what I mean?That was harsh..

Well I found different models and sometimes they greatly vary. Ive seen that the release from the slide valve allows for a change of pressure, pushing the piston and letting the air out.
So if I have my QEV, my co2 tank on the bottom entry hole, my barrel on the R hole and the slide valve on the remaining one, would it work? just pulling and pushing the slide valve would shoot?

There is not a question in any of your post that can't be answered in these forums. You know when you study other members cannons you don't just look at all the pictures (this ain't a nudie mag) you have to read all the postings that go with it.
