Ok, well I have the option of working at 2 different Mitre10(hardware) stores but im not sure what ones yet...
the first store is close to my house and I have a friend working there and its also small.Bad:small, expensive almost no plumbing supplies.
Good: Friend works there,Close to me.
The second store is about 30min away, its a mitre10 mega and has one huge plumbing section.Bad: I don't know anyone who works there.
Good:loads of pipe, cheap and its a big store.
any tips appreciated.
EDIT:another thing is i hate working checkout and thats all you do at the samll store really but at the big store theyre moving(down the street) so they need people to help move stuff and are getting rid off some stock...

Yeah but the plumbing there is really expensive and I dont have my drivers licence yet so its hard to get any plumbing stuff. And when i said almost no supplies they only have brass threaded adapters up to 20mm and down-pipe... not even DWV! And i should get a discount on the pipe as its allready expensive enough, $60($35US) for 3" tee(PN18)

def do the closer one if you don't have your drivers license!

Go further away. More pipe, You'll get to know people, Probably better income.

Bigger store means more women!!!! Less chance of getting busted for bullshiten with your friend, you will get to meet new people, learn more about the world, bussiness, people, your community, better chance of pamotion(sp). I say take the job at the bigger store.

I'd go for the big one, see if your freind can get transferred. If it'll hurt his feelings though, work at the small one.

A bigger store means you are more likely to get time off or able to swap shifts when you need it. This is helpful if you are a student. I was also thinking about getting a job at a hardware store, it sounds way more fun than working at a supermarket (so repetitive, no variety).
Airbeds... so many different uses
