Okay i would appreciate it if someone can tell me what the fastest pilot valve is. before you yell at me i already checked out the wiki and couldn't find what i wanted. Please and thank you...

are you sure i thought that ball valves were relatively slow... well thats wat it told me in the wiki.

He's just joking. A good pilot valve depends upon your pilot volume. A QEV would probably be the best but those are usually pretty expensive. In most circumstances a small ball valve will work for a pilot, but if you want to get a little more fancy you can pilot through a sprinkler valve, modded or electrical.

That's a bit extreme if you ask me, but, sure, it all depends on the pilot volume and type of main valve. A decent solenoid, modded or not, or QEV should do the trick.

someone should make a triggerable burst disk... like a disk that u can pressurize really high without it breaking then maybe a moveable arm with a arrow head on the end so that you could break it..
