ok, i might be getting a few more of my 8in pipes ( http://www.geocities.com/iamthewalrus1113/IM000675.JPG ) and i was wondering:

does anyone know a way i could connect some of these without a actual coupler fitting. i know duct tape wont do, but does anyone one have any idea, the
connection would have to withstand the pressure of a combustion cannon? any ideas are welcome, and if couplers are the only way then i am now sad. thanks.
i got connections with the modfia, watch who ur talkin to noob.

Wrap the end of the barrel in duct tape or something until its snug in the chamber, then put a few screws through the chamber and barrel to hold it in place.

That was all in an 8" wye. Walrus here wants to combine pipes, not plug them. I'm out of ideas here though. Check Ebay and stuff. You may find cheap couplers.

Wow it's $27.28 for an 8'' Schedule 40 fitting at Plumbingsupply.com

I'd try using a think stiff airtight canvis\rubber and wraping it around and putting itt on with hose clamps... like the flexible rubber fittings

You take strips of metal and take bolts and put them on the side and bolt it togerher and then take some expoy and glue the seams on the inside and the outside. Then take so "high quality" duct tape and wrap it really good and tight, it might work.

Are you connecting metal to metal, or metal to PVC?
