I just made a pnumatic cannon with a ball valve and it was cool but i wantd to make it better so i replaced the ball valve with a sprinkler valve cuz that seemed like everyone els was doing. And it fires well but its soooo loud. It sounds like an airhorn and the ball valve was just a small hiss. Is everyones like that?

We refer to that as "honking", typicaly. Basicaly, this is caused by the valve not opening very well - it's vibrating open and closed; pnematicly modding it should fix your problem. (and increase power)

dude thanks a ton for answering my question but what do u mean my pnematically madding? like get a new valve? + this "honking" problem is really pissing me off

mine does that to but ive just learned to ignore it. the weird thing is, is that it honks some times, like it does it after its been sitting a while but after it honks it the first time it quits until i store the cannon for a while
