no combustion chamber?

i have seen some cannons without a combustion chamber just a barrel
does anyone know if they work? ive heard they shoot 200+ yards

You're talking about a thing called a "pipe." AS far as I know, they can't shoot things very far, but that's me, what do I know? :lol:

Maybe you are talking about a coxial cannon.
They are actualy pnuematic...

yeah we used those things as artillary in the older wars :wink: they often were hauled on wood carts and powered by blackpowder

Well their is a chamber only its the same size as the barrel.
relatively bad performance.

Actually coaxials can be combustion or pneumatic. it is just that people only like pneumatic ones.

I think he means just a pipe with a cap on the back. You could get ok performance but probably not 200 yards

Not even close to 200 yards. Maybe 200' to 100 yards.
