lol i am not dry firing it, i want to keep it alive lmao!!! my homemade blackpowder was a entirely homemade rifle. 4 sizes of copper tubes, OD 8 sleeved and soldered in OD 10 mm, sleeved and csoldered in OD 12mm sleeved an soldered in OD 14 mm. htat wasn't a simple soldering, more a welding at high temperature. the munition was an arrow pitch, and i had put 1 gram of powder. cal .236.
i don't know nothing about springers, just i ain't stupid enough to buy a rifle without getting informations about it. for the dieseling, i haven't heard about it before, simply, the words are clear enough for me to build myself a reasonning about it. I guess i was right..

Hey there, i've been setting my scope, it now shoot pretty well!! my back-stop is completely out...
I've taken a video, i'm uploading it right now in google. the reason i'm a bit trembeling, is that it is -3°C here today!

Edit:
I have a problem....this is shitty, i take my rife to go outside for some target shooting, and when i cock it, the piston doesn't block. it doesn't cock it self. I haven't dry fired it, it worked perfectly this morning and yesterday.
Does anybody know what to do?

You’re kidding, right? That sounds like a good way to get fragged. What are you using for the breach, just a copper plug? But still, a .24cal with 15grains of powder, you say that hurts to shoot, dang what’s wrong with you? That sounds about like it can’t have much more kick than a .22mag, and there’s no way that’s got as much kick as a 410bore and that only hurts a bit, ok my shoulder was sore for a little over a day but still. How heavy a projectile are you shooting?
Wait are you even allowed such a critter in France?

Experiment-u2, you need to get the .45-70 barrel, and the pistol grip. What caliber are you getting any way, sorry to change the subject as I said before I like firearms.

as long as the kinetic energy doesn't overpass 10 joules, you're free to go if you're 18.
I didn't use black powder....that's the point. The first shot was without any projectile. 1 gram of whistling-rocket powder.
the second shot, i used a 0.2g BB.
For the third shot i made (i didn't consider the first shot without projectile on the last post) i used a 3.5 grams arrow pitch. it isn't a way to get fragged as the wall thickness is 5 mm, and it's a smooth bore.

And, i sent the rifle back to get another one! one other week to wait!! great!!!

What did you use for ignition? And what is arrow pitch? And why did you return your Gamo?

i used a fuse for ignition. an arrow pitch, is the point of the arrow....the tip, i don't know the exact word for that.
I returned my gamo caused i think the spring broke. i wouldn't cock itself no more. it has well fired over 200 rounds, and it stop working.......

Mines currently in Ohio still, being delivered by FedEx. :? I really would have preferred UPS, but they didn't give me much of a choice... oh well. I'll probably have it by Tuesday. They needed to send it somewhere where they could get an adult signature, so I couldn't ship it here, I had to ship it to my parent's office.

Nope, just 17. It's still silly because you only have to be 16 to buy airguns and ammunition where I live.

Oh where i live in the north of Paris , France, you need to be 18 to purchase any weapon that developp more than 0.07 joules. But you don't have restriction on the ammunition, as long as it isn't powder ammunition. So BB's, pellets, airsoft BB's, you can buy them, but you can't use them. that is absurd.
