I built a new combustion with detachable barrel, chamber fan, and mini gun grip. I don't want to use hair spray in this gun cuase I wanna use propane later on. Any ideas for a clean fuel that doesnt leave behind residue? I got a can of spray deoderant, cause I heard it was clean, but I want feed back from those ahead of me.

Yes... whatever you do, DO NOT USE HAIRSPRAY!! It is the devil when it comes to spud guns in my books! Use Old Spice Body Spray or equivalent ie: Axe, Right Guard. I found that Old Spice produces a bigger combustion that Axe, haven't been able to test Right Guard tho. Just some suggestions... let's hear some more! cheers

Well, I used right guard, actually an off brand that cost like 2 dollars less. But its the same thing, and it works nicely. Seems harder to get right ratio in chamber, but my fan wasnt turned on. So eh.

i use any old brand of deodorant, usually the cheapest. they all seem to work, although some are stronger than others, usually based on the amount of actual deodorant that the propellant carries. 10 mins experimenting will show you the best amount of each sort to use.

I've used electrical grade contact cleaner. The lable says "Leaves No Residue / Plastic Safe". It also says EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Works really well for me. Oh, two more things, I had to replace the nozzle with a misting spray nozzle as it came with a streamming spray nozzle and you have to fire it fast as it is quick drying.
