Well you would need to take the barrel off the gun, and you would need to find a way to tap the barrel to thread a fitting in. To safley make an air gun, all pieces and connections under pressure need to be done right, and need to be strong. If you could tap the rear of it and get a fitting in, then you would just need a tank and valve. Did you want it to be like a paintball tank, with multiple shots/tank or single shots?

what sort of a rifle is it? spring, CO2, pump up? If it's a springer then you're going to need a lot of work, practically the only thing you can use is the barrel... otherwise it shouldn't be too difficult... also, when you say "broken", what do you mean exactly?

PAspuder, im thinking of using a paintball tank and yes with multiple shots.

jackssmirkingrevenge, it's a spring "break barrel".it's broken coz the air in the gun is weak, it can't push the pellet out the barrel, the pellet keeps getting jam in the barrel, I think the spring is weak due to old age.

Look around and with the righ parts and some help choose a simple design. Try a breech loaded magazine or gravity clip. SHouldnt be too hard. And yeah just stick with the barrel.

The spring is probably broken and/or the seal is shagged. you might also want to check the barrel for rust (run an oily cloth through it and see if it comes out rusty) as that can block the barrel too.

What model is it, and where are you located? I might be able to tell you where you might obtain spare parts if you want to repair it.

I'd sooner get it serviced than try and convert it. Do you have a local airgun shop?

It's probably no more than a new spring and seals, which won't set you back that much.

can you find 0.22 round lead balls in your area?

If so, you can make a cloud BBMG using the barrel attached to a BB chamber, fed by a blowgun from the paintball tank.

No. only pointed and flat, theres no round ones.

Oh can you answer this? If i were to use those copper fittings on the gun, can they handle large amount of pressure? lets say 100psi to 300psi.

If done well, copper and its fittings are easily capable of containing 300 psi.

without spherical ammunition then conjouring up a repeater will be a fairly complex affair... I suggest a single shot bolt-action rifle would be your best bet, with your paintball tank hooked up to a blowgun.
