Is there a 3" or 2" ball valve? how much would it roughly cost? If not, what other valves can i use(i can't get hold of blowguns here in Singapore, super strict rules)?

blowguns are a part for air compressors they should not be regulated by law- Check again.

Otherwise RESEARCH ALLOT and build a piston.

Hope that helps

Are you thinking of blowguns as in poison dart guns tribal peoples use? I can't see how they wouldn't allow what is essentially a valve. And if they are that bad I'd be super careful making a spudgun.

Look on the internet, I bet www.usplastics.com has them, if not them then McMaster-Carr but that's pricey.
"On a scale from 1-10, I hope you fall in front of a bus."

:white stuff pours out of piston: "What is that? It looks like milk."
"....Well... it's not milk."

Personally I'ld stay away from pvc ball valves.

Plastic ball valves are hard to open fast.
They also have a short handle.

Metal ball valves require a lot less force, and also have a longer handle.

heating the body of a brass ball valve loosens them up some more,
All that I've worked with (threaded or sweat) use the same seals so if you don't go over solder temperature you won't hurt them.

your mileage may vary , so maybe testing the valves at your parts store would save you some future headaches.

hope this helps

what is the justification your government gives for banning a convenient and useful valve? did some one stick one in their ear at 200 psi and go deaf?!

without a sprinkler valve your blowgun is next to useless.
