yes, thats exactly right, just about 3'' of 1.25'' pipe and glue it together.

EDIT- why, are you making one? if you do be sure to post it.

the only thing that i can suggest is that you install a bumper, i have a different valve on a larger cannon explode today because it didnt have a bumper.

Nice valve!
Just to let you know, if you sand the raised lines and writing off the 3/4" female adapter it fits exactly into a 1-1/4" x 1" flush bushing. Sanding/dremeling the stop in the bushing will allow you to insert and glue the adapter all the way into it, to make the whole valve much more compact. Maybe try it on the next one...

i know this is starting to be a kinda old topic, but i think its worth sharing.

my brother recently got a paintball gun, so i asked if i could shoot a couple paintballs out of my cannon and he said ok. i took about 10 paintballs and shot them. at about 130 psi, 3 out of the 10 poped in the barrel. i guess it was the pressure. they are only made to be shot at 300 or 400 fps, and i was shooing it at a much higher rate, i was just wondering if anyone else had the problem of paintballs poping in the barrel.

edit- these paintballs that poped had already been shot at a hay bail, but showed no damage. im sure they were weakened a little, but i am still wondering if this has happended to any one else before.
