the down side to the instructables throwies is the rare earth magnet you need is like 15 bucks for like 25. and then the rest of the components add up to like $10. i would just use origin unknown's idea.

Yes, if it is just for the looks. No, if you need to find your ammo after shooting it.

Specialist, you shouldnt need the rare earth magnets...I believe those are just for the actual throwie part, so that they stick to metal..but i may be wrong... Get what I'm saying? If I'm wrong just correct me

well if you read this carefully you will see where it says you need a rare earth magnet. http://www.instructables.com/id/E9D2ZJ3 ... /?ALLSTEPS and it has all the steps in order for anyone who wants to build one.

@Specialist:
ilovetoblowthingsup (we REALLY need to abbreviate that :lol: ) is right, the rare earth magnets are just for making the throwies stick to things. All you need for the ammo is the batteries, the LED and the tape.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.
