from what i recall, you were somewhat reluctant to buy new and expencive parts for your cannon. also i just looked at some of the piston cannons here and one in three was actuated by a blowgun. i appreciate your help, but im dead out of money.

yes i want to help u because i know how frustrating it is building a first psiton i was there..u should look at my threads i was practically blowing up..and this wasnt jsut for the comp..i could care less about entering it there u should see how effing fun huge ass guns are...i jsut sit there and shove barbie dolls in my barrel jsut to see them blwo up....i got p od because of someone else i was helping with a psiton...all along form his first day i was telling him his pilot was the problem and he wouldnt listen he kept saying no no no...and then finally a few weeks later he decided to see if i was right about the pilot...guess what he slapped on a new pilot and it worked like a charm...better than he expected also...before criticizing me u should really go by ur self a 3 dollar 1/4 ball valve...

sorry but i must say my gun is a 1" piston and its actuated by a blowgun. it does work but you need the back end of the piston sealed for it to pilot properly.

yer lol i dont kno the name of them rely but yer you could say its a bolt piston, its not machined at all i just have two rubber washers, cut with some pipe and hole punched put on a bolt with a eq hole down the middle ill get piccies up of it when i put mi newly arrived dot scope. but i suppose for a first time build go with a ball valve or sprinkler.

A ball valve would be great but it make firing the Cannon whole handed you cant pull the trigger with your finger like a Blowgun. This creates a problem when you are trying to use it in a scenario game in Paintball and your hands are busy.

I would put a Sprinkler valve to port but a modded-Blowgun is $7 total a modded sprinkler valve is closer to $20+.

I was looking to make like 10 -20 bazooka's so each $ spent counts allot.

I can put the ball valve but that makes the porting a bit awkward -any advice?

Also i know hes basicly doing this to see if he can make a a piston.

So his cannon is only like a 1 inch chamber and a 1/2 inch barrel. It won't be a huge loss if it doesnt work.
