as far as I know the pipe comes like that ready made to enable push-fit connections...

PVC comes in 10 or 20 foot lengths, with one end flared like that, so there's no need for couplers when large plumbing jobs are being done.

yea, it comes like that, you just gotta buy the end. it like that so they can connect lots of pipe without having to buy adaptors.

You might be able to make it using a heat gun and some type of brace to help it mold.

you can do that, ive done it. just heat in the oven for a little while (about 3 or 4 minutes) and take it out (with gloves) and shape it with something cone-like shaped. i did it and it worked ok, but looked crapy, but with practice it will look good.

Alright thanks for all your help, my spud gun is coming along nicely, couldnt have done it with out the help of the forums.
