Well, uh. An existing paintball gun, or one you're making? Give us some details.

OK I just wasn't sure about what you were trying to do. Now what do you mean without them sliding all around in the barrel? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

well ok this is before ive made im just planning it out and before i make this i wanna know if it will work
ok the barrel would be attatched to the valve and that attached to co2 and the hopper is on top of the barrel. so i assumed that they could come down into it? i dont know. i thought about having something block each one and i could move it each time but i dont think thatd be neccasary. would it work if they were just really tight in the barrel so they dont slide around and they dont go back up or whatever?

Well to hold them in place after they go from the hopper to the barrel you could put something in to pin it against the side of the barrel a bit. My Spyder TL-R has a small ball bearing with a spring behind it that pins the paint against the side just hard enough to keep it from rolling out, until I pull the trigger of course. You could use maybe a small piece of felt glued to the side.

Right, for the paintball. You're talking about keeping the paintballs from rolling out right?

put the little piece of felt on the top of your barrel if you put it on the side it will cause the paintball to spin side ways causing it to be less accurate.
Also by putting the felt on top it will give it back spin making it be more acurate and have a greater distance.

Well the ball bearing in my Spyder doesn't make it spin. I suppose the felt might depending on how much friction there is between the two. Hmm. I figured it would hit the side of the barrel enough on the way down that it would negate the spin. You don't think so?
