2 inch copper pipe

anyone have any idea where to find 5 feet of 2 inch copper pipe, the only place ive seen it is on my houses drainage system which is 40 years old, now they just use pvc. home depot, ace, etc. only carry like up to an 1 inch copper pipe?

also just curious, i plan to use my cannon for paintball at 100 psi-125psi but what are some nice target pressures that the copper can hold aside from the vavle

in the uk we can get 54mm copper pipe so im pretty sure its available but be prepaird to fork out!

have you taken a trip to lowes? they have it at all the ones in MA.

Yeah, they have it at my Lowe's too. Copper can be pressurized pretty high, I believe to around 500 psi. I'm kinda confused, are you using 2" copper pipe in a paintball cannon? That'd be pretty heavy.

If you want to live on the edge you can take into account that the BURST pressure (the one you REALLY don't want to exceed) is a LOT higher.

At school they were doing maintenance and I saw them installing what looked like 2.5" or 3" copper pipe into the wall, it was damn beautiful.
I hated to see it be used in such a non-destructable way

my concern for paintball is i need a metal chamber to handle impacts such as falling and cold temps and paintball hits etc. Originally i was gonna use a small size copper pipe, but the barrel needs to b 1.5 - 2 inch pipe, so i jsut figured make the chamber that size too so it looks good and has the air volume.

as far as the price goes, im wondering if i can buy onlt the 2.5 feet of the 2 inch pipe, im also thinking about connecting two steel 1 foot pipes, the ones with the treaded ends, idk yet

That going to weigh a ton, so while being nearly indestructible you will be highly bogged down. And what kind of valve were you planning on using? The stress on it will be quite a lot, with the chamber and barrel made of heavy steel.
