This might help. Oh and VH, my friends have $300 guns with like 700-round mags, so out of range is out of the question. But I did notice that they tend to be cockier and stand out in the open and fire in random places, so all you have to do is not be seen and pop them, preferable in a place where it will hurt for a while.

oooohhhh. yeah. buy something with a high FPS and accuracy, like a gas sniper rifle, and have some fun picking them off when they dont know where you are. you could also make your own airsoft sniper rifle, its not really that hard (exept the hop-up and the astetics). but then, we are spud gunners...... plumbing parts made into high-accuracy airsoft weapons. who would have thought.

to be honest, i reccomend something along the lines of Gas non-blowback. they usually have a large OWWWW factor, are cheap to maintain and use, and most of all, can shoot as far as a 300 dollar AEG and have a fairly good ROF.

what shotgun do you have? do you have a picture? i know that most airsoft shotguns are pretty powerful. if you upgrade the spring and get yourself a telescopic sight they work well as a sniper gun.

either than or make a strafer....... but then they might stop playing.

My Shotgun is called a Firepower Intimidator, with a rail on top which I will propbably get a scope for, I just wish it had a stock.

hmmm. does yours have a little screw right in the back, around the pistol grip? go buy yourself some machined aluminum right angle bars and you can make a pretty good stock. ill post a pic of the one i made sometime tomorrow. it helps accuracy ALOT.

otherwise, always remember that duct tape solves everything. just duct tape a 2X4 in the right place on the thing and then YAYYYY stock.........

if you want to invest in some good firepower for cheap, get the kjw mkII from shortyusa or another website if you can find it for cheaper. it is a good gas nbb, and will easily go through a soda can from 30+ feet. i would just save up $120 and buy a mid-lvl A&K or Jing Gong AEG, you will get your moneys worth, my JG m16a4 shoots 370 fps stock 14 rps, and will go thru 1 side of a soda can at 80+feet.

yeah, i reccomend the same thing Beebs does. im actually going to purchase a Jing Gong gun. its the M4 S-Series.... shoots 400 FPS stock! should be fun.....

the good low-cost brands are:
UTG
Jing Gong (JG)
Echo 1

if its less than 200 bucks and is any other brand than those upper three its usually a P.O.S.....

the newer utg guns are better, i wouldn't reccomend buying one, they are overpriced for the quality you are getting

i guess, i dont personally like UTG. i like echo1 and JG, mostly becuase you can upgrade them with marui parts and with 200 bucks have a gun that would cost most other people 500...........

with my M4 i plan to:
Install a madbull tightbore barrel
Install a metal hop-up chamber
install the madbull shark hop-up bucking
put in an upgraded "silent" piston head and piston

all these upgrades should cost me about 80 bucks at the most, and scince the gun is 140, thats 220 bucks. 220 will buy you a stock marui, however with mine its basically an upgraded marui for halph the price. i highly reccomend it.

with my m16, i havent put any upgrades into it, jsut 2 ICS hi-cap mags and a clap(looks sick) im going to put on a heatshield like this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=2188 then when i recover financially, im gon put on a m203 and buy a couple shells to go with that. once my gun is astecaly pleasing im going to put in a new piston and a new set of gears, and after that a tightbore, itll prolly run me $200 total

well, i say it all depends on the rules of the game. ive played a few games with aeg's and springers, but the AEG's weren't allowed to use full auto.

however, having played airsoft a few times, i say that it more fun with springers. its just more personal..i gues...i like it more.

yeah, springer wars are still fun......... but AEG wars are way more intense. with springer wars, we play one hit kills, and in AEG wars we call a hit to the torso 2 points and a hit to the extremidies 1 point. if you get past 4 points, youre out. makes it so you can take a few more hits. we also play that if you die, you die theatricaly (its kinda sick and twisted, but its really funny) and lay there on the ground and count to 30, then get back up again. during those 30 seconds, however, anyone can steal any of your stuff......... makes it interesting....... i got my primary stolen once when i died...... he didnt realize that i only had 3 seconds left, however, and i just took out my gas pistol and hit him in the back a few times....... stole it back. good times.

My friend got a Warhawk AK, and its pretty good. It was $125, and it fires 300fps, with an accurate range of about 120ft. It it very reliable, and has complete compatiblity with Tokyo Mauri parts, as well as UTG, and just about any other. I highly recommend the gun, it will pwn those noobs with their cheap AEG's. Don't let a high price turn you away, it is so worth it when they jump and yell because they got shot. It brings you to a whole new level and respect for airsoft. Totally transforms the game.
I bought a gas HFC Mac-11, and paid 120 bucks for it, and I haven't regretted it even once. It is highly accurate and it blasts the hell out of most noobs. It also shoots 1000rpm on auto, which it good and bad. It is good when somebody runs into the open, and then they are toast, but bad because the magazine I have only holds 45 rounds. That will only last me around 4 seconds with sustained fire. Too bad... I mostly have it on semi because of this. But seriously, get a good gun of your own and teach them a lesson.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and never buy from shortyusa! They are overpriced and try to sell you stuff that is absolute crap for the price of a gun that is actually good. Go to airsplat.com or speedytoys.com.

im lucky. theres a guy where i live that sells airsoft guns.... the good ones. hes got a full stock of ECHO1's and UTG's and JG's. and for a good price too.

and the warkhawk AEG is quite good.

I chronied my G3A3 at 415 fps at 17 rps. Let's compare that to a springer rifle. 200-350 fps (sometimes higher) and max ROF is about 1 round per second accurately. AEG>Springers. AEGs against springers is NOT fair the slightest bit.

when someone uses an AEG they get very over confident. ive beaten people using their TM AEGs when im using a UTG shotty. if your friend got one of the V2 warhawks then he did not end up too bad, but the old ones sucked ass. ECHO1's and JGs are much higher quality for about the same price. my m16 shoots 370 fps out of the box, and is very solid, with lots of metal parts. not the most accurate thing in the world, the bbs start to curve right a little at about 130 feet, but at that distance it will break a soda can, so im not complaining. im thinking about buying another gun as a sidearm, and i am having trouble deciding.
