say you need gasket material, thats what i said. It was in the plumbing section anyways
say you are exreamly good at sewing and you want to make a wet suit. wet suits are made of neoprene rubber.

shower lining is on a big roll and it is basically a big sheet of thin and flexable pvc, and yes it does seal. you can usually find it near the pvc pipe
edit- its gray in color
another edit- you have to use 2 or 3 layers of showerliner also

The innertube from an old bike tire is a great sealing material. Due to its thinness, you must use multiple layers of it.

Ace should have it over with the plumbing stuff like toilet rings and faucet repair parts. As homedepotpro said, it is carried as gasket material and comes in small red sheets of various thickness, I would recommend 1/8".
The one near me also has neoprene washers like pyro mentioned. They are with the assorted hardware like switches, rubber plugs, and ball bearings.
Wet suits and most mouse pads are made with foam neoprene which would probably work, but I wouldn't recommend it.

so are the small sheets just enoug to make one gasket or could you cut multiple gaskets from the sheets? or do they come in different sizes?
