Thankyou everyone, I went out and bought alot of stump remover, but I got 2 containers with no kno3 it is sodium metabisulfite. Anyone know what I can brew with this?

im pretty sure the point of buying stump remover is for the kno3, from what i have read sodium metabisulfite seems to be a preservative and cleaning agent. now im not positive but it seems like what you just bought is useless for your purposes

edit - what i just read said it was an anti oxidant doesn't that defeat the purpose? oxygen is a decomposer, thats why kno3 is used as stump remover right? it decomposes the log...

Kno3 is a powerful oxidizer and it used is composite rocket fuel such as ''r-candy''.

im confused, you at first said you needed potassium perchlorate for rocket fuel and then stated that you got a bunch of stump remover? stump remover has potassium nitrate, a much different oxidizer in it, mych less powerful. you need to get your facts straight before you remove your hands

well two different rocket fuel mixtures, the kno3 (stump remover) is mixed with sugar (and you get r-candy). and the the potassium perchlorate well theres a few different ones i know of. the one thats the best know is potassium perchlorate mixed with crushed up candy. theres a bunch other more "professional" mixtures like Potassium Perchlorate powder and Sodium Salicylate powder... you know kno3 it a hell of alot easier to get than Potassium Perchlorate without having your name show up on a government watch list

Do I need an adult signature at arrival?

No signature, i just ordered enough potasium nitrate, sulfer, and charcoal to make 20 pounds of black powder as well as potasium chlorate and they left it at the door.
You do need to have an age check online, so just borrow which ever parents credit card your using drivers license and put in the info, and thats it.
But you can't order the good stuff your first order, so buy the stuff you can, then get the rest on your second order.
Also, united nuclear has good quality but is slightly over priced, and also last time i checked no longer sales perchlorate or chlorate cause of a recent lawsuit between the government and another chemical supplier.

it is very good for touch explosives though, i assumed that was what he is using it for. some of that w/ some Mg will be realitively sensitive. more so with Al. if you want uber sensitive touch elplosives look into making some immonium tri-iodide. a gel capsule with that stuff placed on top of a door will sound like 2x a firecracker when it falls off, and leave a massive purple explosion mark on the floor

thats the way you want it to be, super sensitive. you gotta keep it wet untill you are ready to use it, and put a gob of the wet sutff into te gell capsule.(dont ever store it for more than 3 days)[/quote]
