Dude, 3,000 sqf is like the size of my house, thats a HUGE shop for personal use. And my workspace is a nice clean 10ft work bench in my (newly cleaned!!!) garage. My firing range is the huge lake in my backyard. I can easily see where all the projectiles land to judge there range.
VH was awesome!!
Current projects:
C02 Jetpack (CIIJ)
Waterjet vehicle
.177 cal. piston rifle

Yep, I know, but what do ya say? No Dad, don't build an insanely large shop and allow me ample space to build stuff. And it is bigger than my house. My Ma has shop envy.

But seriously, it does have a purpose. My dad does fine wood working(profitable hobby) and various other projects(early retirement has its perks) .Plus, all the tools need a place to stay.

750 sq foot garage, with drill press and jig saw (damn dremel broke, have to custom cut all parts with a jig saw.)
Then i have a two tables in my family room where i work on small scale projects and paintball guns. Also have a table for making black powder and other pyrotechinic compositions in this small hall way between the garage and the rest of the house.

my building area is a two car garage with limited tools, glue gun, a shelf of nails, and usually a car parked in it. sometimes two, and thats when it gets hard. my shooting area is over our fence, but im not going to hit these distant neighbors, as much as i want to because they smoke on the porch in their bathrobe while on the phone

Ok like I said earlier I have a nice little closet all to myself. Well, technically it's my dad's but he almost never uses it, so I've pretty much taken over.

Here it is as seen through my garage. Yes I am aware of the floating tennis ball. It's there for a reason.

Just a little messy. I work on that folded workbench.

The other side. Pretty boring there.
