thanks for the links, I wasnt looking to copy what you made. I doubt seriously that I would come close. I dont have the pipe bending equipment or even a welder anymore:( I was just curious.
I only started this a while ago so I suppose I gotta get used to the rules.
Thanks

Luke, what's that on the end of the nails? Wax or latex? Or is it something else?

They look like wax, but they could be like A-98's darts. (I think it's A-98)

no the tails are made from a certain plastic, when heated it does not turn black it goes see though and can be molded over a plum bob or any other cone shape object, then is simply epoxied on to the nail, theres a tutorial im pretty sure.
Edit yer as stated by Modderxtrordanare A98 style darts by the looks
Edit edit: as a 98 said there his style darts
im tired sorry.

Dont worry mate we all learn at some stage about things. But if it helps my almost done sniper (yes I am making the piston folks) is inspired by Chaos' S400 and U2's Reaper Rifle.

ok thanks twitch, I dont think I'll bother with the marble guns as I dont have the desire...yet. And whats more if you never ask about stuff you never learn and I dont recall ever asking about getting plans from anyone. I asked how he made it ie. bent the pipe or made it from bits and pieces
shheeesh mellow out I only like combustion cannons I was just showing appreciation

well in my opinion, "Are there any links that will help me if I want to make one?"
kind of counts as plan asking. now i took into consideration that you are new on the forums and guessed you were asking for plans. I am sorry if i miss understood you, but a lot of new people on here tend to have that habit of asking for plans.
now all in all
i wasn't being harsh i was just giving a heads up about the way people are tolerated if they ask for plans.
k?
oh n don't tell me to mellow out ever again.

well for the people who asked my darts area cone made from heated milk jugs (thank you a-98) and filled with hot glue becuase i ran out of epoxy. milk jusg plastic works becaue the kind of plastic its made of cannot be remelted. you can only softain it and change the shape

I knew it, they looked like they were made of wax, but it was because you filled them with wax. The shape was still made as I had suspected, as per A-98's tutorial.

yer i had a go at making these before i owned a glue gun, i used wax to hold the cone on but my gun just tore it apart in the barrel, ya need hot glue or epoxy to hold them on
