Hey guys, my mate was gunna throw this old slingshot out today, it was in 3-4 pieces with nothing holding them together....the threads on the screws were striped :( so he gave it to me :D i filled the threads with epoxy and ran a bead around it....left it set up, came back....put the bands on it.... cut down :lol: and woow :blink: best free thig ever, been shooting at cans with ball bearing and going through both sides...might try my luck with some black birds later....my gran will love me :lol:

Awesome. I got one and it is a blast. Mine, however, has a wrist wrap, for securing it to the arm and being able to aim better. That one looks like it used to have one. Hit your buddy up for the rest of it (if he still has it) and put it on. You will be surprised at what it adds to the thing.

naa, its gone. But im gunnna buy a new one with a arm rest iff i can:) need some more ammo :) marbles anyone?

Mine has the same as hubbs, it has a part that goes on your arm so that its secure. But they are fun when you cant use a cannon or anything. I just like things going fast and doing damage, thats just me!! :)

As far as ammo goes, marbles work great. Something else that works (sold by Crossman) is ball bearings. They come in two different sizes (I forgot what they are). They have a flat spot on two sides, I guess so they can be gripped easily.

It is amazing what kind of accuracy these little things have, too.

thats nice and shiny :lol: I have made a couple of slingshots with bands from our local gun shop. The bands are pretty crap now.. I might buy a barnet diablo one day.
It's all a bunch of tree huggin' hippie crap!

if you realy wont to have fun make a large one using sergial ruber tubing :D

thread the tubing through two hadles at ether end and the make a cup in the middle. tubing on each side should be around 70cm long. fires water ballon a long way

i used to have a nice sling shot but left it out in the sun and the u.v really didn't do it any good.

I have the same type of slingshot but mine had a magnet on it to hold bb's in place. it got really annoying not being able to pinch ammo so i ripped it out.
