military style circular connectors

i have been looking for military-style electrical 'cannon plug' connectors. they are basically a circular electrical connector with as little as 2-pin and as much as 100-pin. the only retailer i have found wants too much money for them.


i would be paying over $200 for the connectors and plates and that is for a few 5-pin connectors.

has anyone seen these around? inexpensive? must be military-style

not quite.

on the military ones the outer ring actually locks onto the connector plate

Look at an electronic components site and go through Connectors->Multipole etc It helps if you rank them with the highest first as they're expensive so they'll stand out.
