The barrel is not sealing. What are you using for the sealing face?

Are you filling from behind the 'phram? how far is your barrel from the 'phram when uncharged?

What are you using to fill it, it sounds like it may not be getting the air it needs to seal quickly enough, or your equalization hole could be too big.

You need lots of air flow to get it to seal. like a continuous flow of 25psi from a compressor.

In addition to what spudgunner said, a bike pump probably wouldn't cut it for this gun, you need a compressor or CO2 or something similar.

How close is the phram in size to the id of the pipe. Get the gap really small. like under a millimeter

I have that problem with sealing my piston valve because there is not enough flow ever since i added that bumper to my piston. What i do now to seal it is begin to fill via schrader, i have to shut the ball valve between the schrader and the brass tee connected to the back of the tee. I have to shut the ball valve and build up pressure, then release it causing that burst of pressure to seal the piston to the barrel. So it still works which i am happy with for now.
