lubricating
I read lubricating ball valves will damage seals, will silicone lubricant work? If not, what else can i use? How do you apply it?

someone has suggested sometime ago that silcone lubricant can dammage the seals, but it works fine for me... my BV is very easy to open and seals fine even at 400 psi
do i just close the valve, spray some and work it around?
