Hi,
I don´t know if you have already seen this. I found a gadget that could be perfect as a foot for home made stirrup pumps.
See picture.
It´s walled a Wandwinkel here (wall angle). It´s 3/4" both ports. The 3/4 to 3/8 adapter could contain a home made check valve, made of air components.
One could drill or file out the threads in the top port and get a 25mm pipe into it. With a wall thickness of, say, 2 mm it would have a piston area of 3.46 cm^2 -- that if, a pressure of 12 bar would require a 41 kilogram force - quite ok I think.

So your saying you have purchased these parts and your going to build one? Or just that a person could?
If it were me I would keep the threads in there and just jet a sweat to male pipe thread adapter. Just keep in mind that you want all area that is not used by the piston to be as small as possible. On my pump I will be filling the areas that come before my check valve with epoxy and drilling a small pilot hole through the center of it.
good luck, Lock

You "could" also build the check into the base of the pump cylinder and screw it right into your fitting. This is what I and a few others have done.
Like that fitting though, going to have a look for one. Thanks!

are there any smaller sizes (like 1/2" or smaller) available as well ?
Hi,
I will try to see if I can get a 16 mm aluminium tube to sit and seal reliably in a adapter (16 mm PEX tubing <--> 1/2" pipe thread). Then I will, of course, put the adapter on top of the ceiling angle (it's not a wall angle, which I called it before) and the pump cylinder on top of the adapter.
The hole thru the adapter almost invites to just brazing in a Presta valve as a check valve. No more homemaking of check valves...
