Hey guys I am going to build my first cannon this weekend and am going to try and build the one in the video below. I was just curious about how the barrel fits and what you would need to make it fit. In addition I was curious about what adapters are needed to accept the barrel and how long is the best length for a barrel.

o_O what show is that? what channel at what time?? TELL ME!!
lol

when you make yours, you better use some primer and cement...

this is what you need for the body

4" clean out cap --> 4" female thread adapter --> 4" pipe --> 4" coupling --> 4" to 1.5" reducing bushing --> 1.5" pipe

the best length for the barrel depends what you want, but if you want it shoot hard, then you need to calculate it, the best chamber to barrel ratio is said to be 1.5:1 by volume.
1 foot of 4" dia pipe for the chamber, then you shoot use around 4 foot of 1.5" dia pipe for the barrel, i think...
