It's all true, but grossly exaggerated. PVC is dangerous, but it's not like being around it will kill you instantly. These things make for great sensation stories. Their "evidence" often comes from pumping lab rats with several thousand times the normal exposure dosage of (insert chemical here), and then cry havoc when said animal grows a third eye.



And as for that baby in the picture, I think he'd have to be more worried about the lead in the cheap paint :D
