Hi. I have made a few mini cannons, but I keep putting too much hair spray in them and they end up shaking apart so I was wondering if those air can key board cleaners would work. anyone think this is possible?

Shaking apart?.. The BS meter is reading a little high in your comments, Scorch. Too much hair spray causes a cannon to NOT shoot. And, you didn't describe the construction of your cannon that "shakes apart".

Don't fool with the canned air. Even if it might work, it's way too expensive.

Just vent out all to let fresh air in and then add in a LITTLE fuel.
Just a little.
It should fire.

How big is your chamber?
For a bb caliber I suspect the chamber to be small (pill bottle size) and I can imagine you spraying 10 seconds of hairspray in it, which is 100 times too much.
Spray in the shortest spray you can, and if that is still too much, wave the cannon around three times before closing it, so that some of the fuel vents away.
A spudgun requires only 4-5% of its chamber volume of fuel per shot.

On really small chambers you could also fill it with a butane lighter. Clean, high quality gas compared to hairspray and easily dosable.
