That was sort of my theory, that they have a low hit per dollar ratio.psycix wrote:Instead taking the enemy out with a few of these, you could've shot about 100 normal balls at them for the same price!
I was considering that myself. Surely it can't be too difficult to find a way to add some kind of a tail to a paintball. We could make this on our own right? Bit of ghettoness, duct tape and epoxy and you're all set.
I already tried to make something like this for my paintball but haven't had time to c if they increase the accuracy yet. My garden is probably too small as well to notice the difference lol.Ragnarok wrote: I was considering that myself. I mean, do a ring of paper that's a little under the diameter of a paintball, sit it on a paintball, dribble some glue in around the join... a passable alternative for a tenth of the cost.
It might not have see an increase in effective breaking range, but at least it wouldn't hook wildly.
Sounds even more wasteful elsewhere. If you're not using it for paintball, surely there are ways to make other projectiles that cost less and can do a similar job.ALIHISGREAT wrote:i definitely won't be getting any... well not for paintballing
