I am need a bore scope or laproscope. capable of fitting into size .17" or smaller. $1,000 dollars is to much to buy a bore scope. need ideas ie what matierials how to build.

The 0.17" limit is going to be a challenge.

You can get fairly cheap bore scopes at 1/2"D for $139,

Hmm, where can you get a ~0.15" fiber optic cable?
