Getting epoxy off hands

I, myself, am a messy person and everytime i use epoxy i seem to get it on my hands

Anyway its really hard to get off so does anyone know the best way to get epoxy off my hands

Hm lol happen to me everytime I deal with epoxy either 1 wash it off multiple times until you see some getting off.. if its to stubborn let it be and it will be gone the next day (unless its a huge chunk of epoxy) or 2 be more carefl and put up some cheapo plastics gloves to protect yourself.....

dishwashing liquid + small brush/abrasive cloth/sand (yes, sand)

...but the best solution is to wear latex gloves and avoid getting it on your skin in the first place, it also avoids getting fingerprints on your launcher, you never know

Thought you would come in soon... hm why would you hide fingerprints from your launcher.. if its in your property I guess its still yours......

If you wait a few days it will just come off because nothing can prementally bond to human skin. If you want it off now try some acetone or lacquer thinner.

For fresh JB weld, I just saturate a paper towel with some naptha (paint thinner/lighter fluid, whatever you wanna call it) and whipe my hands with the towel, then rinse my hands with water. That works pretty well for me.

Instead of sand use sugar crystals.

A couple of pinches of sugar is good for getting grease off hands. Not sure about epoxy though.

Things can very well permanently bond to skin. The fact is that skin is shed over time, so your skin isn't permanently bonded to you...

The syringes of epoxy always seem to recommend acetone for getting it off, and it does seem to do a decent job.

However, I've heard that the resulting acetone/epoxy mix can absorb into your skin, which isn't good. Not sure if there's any truth in that but the site that said it recommended using vinegar instead, which I've tried and it does work.

Acetone will dehydrate you very quickly, from my experiences. In any case one wouldn't do well to rub acetone into their hands to remove epoxy.

I usually just rub my hands on my jeans whenever I get epoxy on them, and then peel the stuff off whenever the little bit that's left dries.
