what is a sst ignition system?

i saw some nicer lighters at the store today and some had electro quartz igniton and others had sst ignition. im guessing electro quartz is piezo but then whats the difference between quartz and sst igniton? and could you ise sst for spud gun ignition?

I believe SST means that they have a flint. I'm not sure though.

no its not flint cause i bought one and it sparks just like a piezo but i dunno how it works on the inside

i did but all it comes up with is a bunch of lighter selling sites that just say they have an sst igniton system.

Yup, my googling skills have let me down. Could someone ask around or something? This sounds very promising.
