mini burst valve cannon

I was thinking about making a small burst valve cannon.
I have some 1cm copper pipe and i desperately wish to make a new cannon.
The chamber will be about 6" long and use multiple layers of plastic bag as the disk. Think it would be worth my time building?

Are you thinking about a mini burst disc hybrid or a pneumatic here?

Well seems pretty simple, solder your union or w.e on the front of the chamber then just epoxy a schrader to the back.. and your done.
