...................................................SSSVS................................................
I'v had h=this sprinkler valve gun for about a month, and decided it needed improvement. So i went to the hardware store today and bought a 125 psi pop off valve. After getting it i decided feeding we be too great an issue, so i decided to try this one instead of going back to the store. I call it Semi-auto, but it really only gets three shots per fill, but it still counts...

Now for some specs:
The stock is a 1" body with 3/4" pipe added for a cooler look.
the valve is an orbit 1" SV piloted by a 1/4" 125psi pop-off valve
The barrel is 3/4" sch 40, but i have an 1" one and a 1/2" one.

Note: There are two fill valves of this gun, one on the SV and one on the stock. When filled from the stock, this gun can be taken to 150 psi, weird right?

Now for some pictures:

There will be more to come, i will post damage pics later

Nice, consider a magazine and a larger chamber, you could be the first to develop a semi for the people ;)

Yea, i have a large 80 oz chamber, but this one is a little more ergonomic, and it takes WAY less pumping. For the magazine, i need to find a consistent ammo, i tried your co2 cartridge, but they do a little too much damage

That is pretty cool for such a simple gun. Nice work! What was the reasoning for the use of a popoff valve as your pilot? How well does it wok wih the low flow pilot valve?

well my reasoning was at first that i didn't have a blowgun  and i needed a pilot. I just happend to have a pop-off. The popoff seems to me to have way more flow than even my modded blowgun, but there are no real figures to back this up, just a matter of opinion.

Are there any special modifications to the SV beside the added pop-off/fill station? how hard is it to pull the pop-off? and with a compressor, could this go full auto?

Yes, the spring was removed, an equalization hole was made, and the solenoid port was filled
The pop-off is easier to pull at higher pressures, and it doesn't really matter, i only pull it a tiny bit.
i don't really know, it would probably stress the valve too much anyway

No doubt about that.

Too much damage? That's a new one for spudfiles  marbles perhaps? Or scale it down to airsoft, the barrel choking the flow will make the chamber last longer...

Why do you want less damage? :?
That's a little wierd.
Anyway, what's the point of taking the spring out? And don't all sprinkler valves have an equilization hole already?

by too much damage, it is only too much for my little back yard, when i go out to a friends ranch, i'll be sure to take some destruction ammo. And with just a grape it takes the bark off trees!

Well the spring reduces flow greatly. And my equalization hole was plugged with some weird plastic peice.
