Harness the power of precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Safety first! These are advanced potato guns - not for the beginner.

if you have a metal body for your combustible / hybrid , upon ignition will you get zapped? having the spark is using the metal body to complete the arc

if you used the search function, or just read some topics, you would have seen that if it is properly grounded, you won't get zapped.

Should've just asked this question in your other thread. You should've also looked at one of the many metal hybrids on the forum, would've taken only a few seconds.

Electricity is a really strange thing, it always wants to go home the easiest way. Going through the spark gap is the easiest way.

(This isn't strictly true, but it's the easiest way to explain it)

Also, W00t 301st post.

Theres different ways to do it. I guess it depends on how high the mix will be. I just ran wires through mine and connected them to a spark strip, but its a low mix hybrid so I could get away with stuff like that.

A car is a "metal bodied hybrid". You don't get zapped by your car do you?
