Brilliant
How long before they use low flying Arduino drones for this, unless they're not doing it already.

yup they should not only does it limit their range but also accuracyThey should work on their aerodynamics

Well I'm open for businessjakethebeast wrote:Next some mexican guy contacts you and asks if you could make larger mini boys
Been thinking about this lately, as we know you can make a barrel long enough for the projectile to actually start decelerating or actually stop in the barrel. The problem is that for a decent chamber size, this would make the barrel unfeasibly long. How about making the barrel volume up with an outer barrel? Something like the attached, badly drawn on a small laptop.I wonder if it was loud....? Surely with the right ratio of barrel to chamber volume alone one could make it near silent
Definitely, a predictable trajectory would increase operational yield and minimise risk.yup they should not only does it limit their range but also accuracy

Certainly could be done but....POLAND_SPUD wrote:I wonder if they use UAVs for this purporse... I've seen on DIY drones some pretty impressive setups - capable of flying like 10km or so - in fact in most cases the only thing that limits them is the range of radio links and video transmiters and they are kind of worried of losing their planes - which isn't surprising

Lets hope they have it pointed in the right direction.D_Hall wrote:Critique their design all we want, it looks like they've got a workable system. They just need to make sure there's someone on the other end waiting to catch the dope.
