Pimp has gone crazy!

In the wake of sh*tty posts I have responded with a wake of mass deletion. I think ive racked 30 deletes today so this is to show im not hesitant in my actions. Admittedly about 20 of them were from the uber noob "pvc". From now on I will dock 25 spudbuxs for every post I have to delete of yours. "Me want my spudbuxs! O noes whats must I do to save em'?" Ill make a list for the simple minded.

-Grammar
--Excess of not using the shift key, punctuation, and spelling will result in a deletion. Nope this aint English class, but were playing with weapons so I as the asshole will expect good grammar.

-Content
--Under 2 lines and isn’t something fairly important or pertaining to the particular thread, why just kiss it good-bye. Also if your post is just plain non-informative, or worthless, I will do the same.

-"Dead" topics
--As always I will delete the kicking of old topics

-Post whores
--If you go on a posting rampage I will start deleting some of your posts.

-People that don’t PM mods when there is a problem, rather posting in the thread the problem.
--If you see a problem don’t post in the thread because it forces us as mods to delete yours along with the violators.

-Whatever else in the hell I feel like deleting.

After trying to be nice, and asking others for the opinion prior to doing stuff, ive decided to take the advice of a member "F*ck whatever one else says". I know im going to get sh*t from SpudStuff, Mental, and all you other dumbasses, but who cares? Most of what you do isn’t contributing to the bettering of this forum. *goes into deletion happy mode*

Also im seriously considering suggesting "pvc" to be banned. Tomorrow I will mention to PC.

i'd like to also say that as long as someone posts something RELEVANT to any topic in the official cannon forums they are NOT kicking up dead topics, these topics are there to show off cannons, so they still serve a purpose, and therefore arent dead

I tend to not. The only type of posts that I delete that look like a compliment are stuff along these lines:

"omg is taht duc tap on teh hadle nic gun "

those, yes, delete them, i was saying this for mostly other members who will bitch about someone posting in any topic, no matter how relevant to the discussion it is, it only makes more posts for mods to delete

If you have a question why not post it in there, why go and make a new topic if it is there? Other people will read it. Meaby they were giving a complment about some ones cannon. It is not like after so many months the topic is locked, it is open so why not post in it?

I don't know about you, but if someone posts in one of MY "dead" cannon topics, I rather enjoy the fact that someone likes my work enough to post about it.

I just dislike it when someone kickes somethin up from a year ago when it is a half-answer to someone's stupid question that doesn't even matter anymore.

Im not deleting any posts of that nature. I leave "prop" posts regardless of there content. Well maybe besides something like "nic gun".

Im doing this after I noticed stuff going to sh*t, as well as other members have mentioned it to me. It seems as if we cant communicate because are conversations are getting muffled by post-whoring illiterate noobs. Its just the "atmosphere" that doesnt allow for any technical discussion in depth. I was hesitant in posting this since I knew Id get all kinds of b*tching push-back, but followed threw for the sake of the other members that demanded change. I think anyone can honestly admit the quality of SpudFiles in all fashions has been going downhill.

yes,I agree. If someone kicks up a topic and like he said,answers a question asked 6 months ago ,that should be deleted. those kinds of posts should be deleted

Ideas and soulutions are being transfered smoothly. Or am I the only one that enjoys such discussion? I just love it cause its a lot easier to discuss since its not getting chopped up with "col dud" posts. I know ive been ignorant for the last while, ill try to fix that

Yeah, more aggressive moderation (somehow that sounds wrong ) is a good idea IMO. The forum is quite active so single-liners will hardly be missed.
