Would putting a barrel on one of these help it get more distance?

Right now I have a cannon kind of like that, except the body is 2" PVC with a piezo sparker sticking out and a piece of 1 1/4" PVC inside it. the 1 1/4" can slide around easily or can be taken out. There are wires going from the sparker into the cap of the film can where the spark gap is. Mine is breech loading and is capable of shoot ing 15+ cans per minute, if I could get it to work. I have tried hairspray, pure propane, spray paint, pure butane, and every aerosol in my house, but I can't get it to fire. I have made exactly 0 combustions but a few pneumatics and a couple of strafers, so I have no idea what's wrong. I have tried to use as little fuel as possible.

Do you have a picture? I'm having trouble visualizing what your cannon looks like.

I would try Bianca breath freshener it sprays the perfect amount fuel for a film canister each time you press it.

Has anyone ever tried to build a stand that looks like those civil war cannon stands with the two wheels in front like that one with a big combustion on it so it would actually kick  ?

You can't just go spraying a shit load of fuel in. You are inserting way too much fuel. Cut it back man. It takes surprisingly little to get the best combustion.
