Well I've been wanted a CAD program to draw up designs for my guns. I finally figured out that Rhino has a trial version. I downloaded it and in about 2 mintues I figured out how to save my creations infinitely.
Anyway, I am blown away by this program's complexity. Anyone know a good place for tutorials?

How would I go about bending a cylinder at its midpoint as to make an elbow?

if you haven't figured out in the past month, i'd probably just make a circle then make another one perpendicular and lower (these are the openings in the elbow) then draw the outer bend of the elbow and the inner bend, both touching the circles and use the sweep two rails option, if that doesnt work then i'd just play around with many of the other options.PVC Arsenal 17 wrote:How would I go about bending a cylinder at its midpoint as to make an elbow?

draw the 90 degree curve and then pipe it, and do it again with a smaller diameter then use one of those functions that delets where solids overlap and then you have a good elbow without the sockets for glueingPVC Arsenal 17 wrote:How would I go about bending a cylinder at its midpoint as to make an elbow?
