How long would you use a cannon for before you thought it'd be unsafe due to age?

Well on Australian pipe there is usualy a date printed on the side,one for when it was made and one for when its not safe to use and on my pipe it has until 2017 so a few years but thats provided its not left in the sun or exposed to alot of chemicals for prolonged periods of time.

WHen your pipe becomes discolored, warped or sunrotted.
Your pipe has dates on it?Im jealous.
