Many of you noticed that SpudFiles was down for about a day.

Some believe it was compromised (hacked into). This was not the case.

A database error (computers can make errors hah) started to not release SQL connections, so the connection number built up till everyone started getting the max_users error.

All service has now been restored. If anyone has any issues, please let me know.

Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

Did spudfiles just go down for matinence? I couldn't load any pages for about half an hour or so.

So what was updated in the downtime, just the server OS?

EDIT: Also who is this iemand , most of the times i enter the chat, iemand goes offline...

The only issue I have had so far, was just once it said the max users bull again. The others have been due to my internet company being a male part.
