This is the second cannon that i have built but it wasn't intended to be a gun. It was suposed to be a horn. I have a 1''barrel that i got from schmanman but i have no pics of it yet. I'll post them as soon as i take them. It consits of a 2''chamber and a 3/4'' Rain Bird sprinkler valve. Its trigger is just a light switch and i made a wood handle for it. It is filled by a tire valve and uses 3, 9-volt batteries to open the valve.

mount a trumpet horn on it!

I've been to (get this, I dont care) 155 psi with a sprinkler valve repeadly, and no such thing ever happened!
its a bunch of s***, If you ask me.

in fact, that is really the only pressure it is ever used at.
people need to start trying things themselves (to a certain extent) instead of quoting what the last person said.
I'm not saying to go build a cellular core, dvw gun with a sprinkler valve, and then to hook it up to a unregulated 20oz co2 tank, I'm just saying to try things yourself.
I mean, 30 psi is not gonna make a huge difference.
50 or 60 would, though.
Persistence is a measure of faith in yourself

Schmanan - I've built a DWV pneumatic before. It was my first spudgun, in fact. And I would DEFINITELY not recommend DWV parts for pneumatic guns to anybody else.

Mark, I have a feeling that you completely missed his point.
Is that a PW bell reducer?
