6mm airsoft BB's will shoot, 1/4" is probably a teeny bit big for them so they wouldn't be too accurate, but it'd work fine...

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

when i had a 1/4 barrel on my mini, i would use q-tips

but if its a pneumatic, water is always fun to shoot out of those suckers. they give a good kick. even for a mini

heres a good dart, they can be made for pretty much any size(1/4 might take alot of skill :D , maybe use needles instead of rods.

@spudthug

It's not "too big for airsoft"; if thats what fits in the barrel then it works fine. If your point is, you want a heavier projectile, see if you can find some 1/4" ball bearings.

Jrrdw's idea is a great one. I'd try to attach a "tail" to the bolt somehow to stabilize it in flight. This would essentially make it a 1/4" bolt dart. Sharpen the tip? :)

Your barrel is *obviously* choking flow from a chamber that big. What kind of valve are you using?

Peace,
Pete Zaria.
