I have AutoComplete enabled and I use it on this site to fill in my password one my username is typed in.

The stored pass word is correct, but when it "autocompletes", something adds another bunch of characters to fill up the whole password box. My password is only 4 characters. If I hit the log in button it says "incorrect password" although the only AutoComplete put in IS correct. I think it's those mysterious extra characters that throw it off.

And when I turn off AutoComplete and fill in everything manually, then hit the log in button, again something adds more characters to my password. In that situation though it does log in properly.

This is the only website where I encounter this problem and it only happens when using the new theme. The old theme never did this.

it happens to me, however it has no negative effects, and i have autofill activated. i think it may be some security measure.

EDIT: cuurses, i forgot to put in a sentence

It is because your password is encrypted on your computer before it ever leaves your computer, this is an enhanced security measure here on SpudFiles that I put in place because of how easy it is to steal someones user name and password over a badly designed network (such as a schools network).

If it is becoming an issue with some people, I can remove it, it's up to you guys let me know.
