Here are the shells that will be used on the Eclipse launcher. I just had 600 of these made up. They are 6 inches long with a maximum OD of 1.772 inches, turned down across the center 4 inches by 1/32 of an inch. They weigh in at 3.81 oz apiece.

Since 40mm (i.e. 1.575 inches) is the spec for sch 40 1.5 inch PVC, I would guess that these might be useful to someone.

Nice one mate. I know your still venturing into the over-seas market but Im dieing to have one of these for myself, is there any chance of plans for sale? Also I like these shells and as I see they come with a belt. Are you trying for an auto shotgun effect coz that would be sweet as

That is awesome, really professional looking. How much did it cost to get 600 of them made?

Well, I was trying to show these off without sounding like an advertisement. These first ones are marked for the launchers themselves, but I will be making thousands and was just curious what homebuilders would think of them. The tensile strength calculation I did at 400psi had around a 10:1 safety factor before minimum burst. The launcher also makes use of replaceable threaded barrels which are 40mm as well. These are things that I wish were available when I started building my first launchers. The main advantage besides safety is the consistency of the shell itself compared to hacksawed pvc. I really can't stop people from using the parts in their own launchers and tried to make something universal. The next ones will be in a 2" bore size. As far as cost, still determining that for bulk runs. The next batch will be considerably cheaper and I will base the retail price from there.

Wouldn't he want it to be an advertisement if he put it in the classifieds? Of course these things are already sweet, but he would probably have to advertise a little bit in the actual classified topic, just so people know exactly what they are buying.
