Here she is after all that time. It's a foot of 3'' pipe for the chamber, and 5 feet of 1/2'' for the barrel.
Featuring:
Ghetto Breech
Awesome Barrel Support
(with permission) "Fish Killer" trigger setup

This is my first project that I've put a lot of work into smaller detail into, such as an O-ringed ghetto breech, carefully measured barrel support, etc etc.

How good is it? Well, I don't know. I'm having problems with getting the qev to seal. My dad broke our 12v car tire pump, and it doesn't like my bike pump. When I stop pumping, air slowly leaks out the barrel. I'm thinking of re-telfon taping the brass bushing. It can still pilot when I open the blowgun though...

Enough of my rambling, here's some pics-

The whole thing (I hope no one is offended I'm standing on a China flag  )
Image

Trigger setup - Nasty primer stain if from when I had to pull the fitting back out because it was too low for the barrel support. It fit dry-fitted though...stupid solvents. On the top is a mini pressure gauge, on the bottom is a schrader.

Well? Waddaya think? I know it needs a paintjob...

If you bring that to the meet, we can use my compressor on it. I can also bring spray paint to paint it if you'd like. I'll probably have left over stuff to camo it from my truck by then.

But that is a pretty awesome gun you have constructed there. 9/10 (Needs paint)

Nice breech gun!
I would like to comment on your extremly cool and intracate looking barrel support!
If air is leaking out of the barrel than that sounds like it could be a problom with the Q.E.V. Try taking it apart and putting it back together. make sure thair ar no fragments in the valve.

I SOLD A GUN TO A SCHOOL AND THEY WERE VERY MAD WHEN THE CO2 WAS JUST RUSHING OUT THE BARREL WHEN THEY TURNED IT ON (whoops hit capps lock) The only problom was a pice of pvc in the valve holding the diphram open

Yes modder bring paint! I will be your man b*tch for all eternity! No not really I'll just be very grateful.

Turbo, how many guns have you sold to schools? And do they ask you to make them or do you walk up to the principal in a trenchcoat and sunglasses and say "Hey buddy, wanna buy a t-shirt gun?"

I likes the gun, it's niceness. You know what the range is? And what kind of paintball gun is that I see in the background?

Nice!

You know they say copying is the sincerest form of flattery (or something along those lines) So yeah, I'm flattered that you used my trigger set up.

Good job on the barrel supports too. They help a lot.

And Deltrol QEV's seem to be plagued with leaks. I don't know if you used a Deltrol but it might explain the leaks dwn the barrel. I'm upgrading to a Humphrey Super QEV soon for that reason. My blowgun also crapped out so I'm replacing that too. Damn... $20 of awesomeness and it breaks...

Good job salty, looks like we could have some fun with that at the meet. i might have my newest planned gun finished by then, ittl be a copper piston gun with a handcrafted wooden stock.

Like i said before, awesome job, you should paint it cammo. i think the chamber is a little overkill though, you coulda gotten away with a 2" but longer chamber.

Also, why do you have a chinese flag? are you a communist? if so i have to disown you as a fellow Texan

That gun is sweet. Try making some nail darts to muzzleload since they probably couldn't fit through your breech hole. Try refunding your QEV if you can't figure out what is wrong with it.

Notice that he IS using the flag as a sort-of rug, not hanging it on the wall. :P

Nice gun. Did you bore out that 3" tee so that it just slipped over the chamber?

salty i know why your gun is leaking...i thought pvc arsenal would have gotten it because it happenned to his gun..it happenned to my gun..it isnt the crappy qev detrols are actually pretty good...when you disconnect the pump from the gun, the schrader lets some air out and thats not enough to completely pilot the qev but it does a little bit... just put a ball valve between the shrader and the qev so it doesnt leak...
4" piston valved cannon-half done..( i spilt my cement...)

Hybrid- 75% done. need to build propane holder and drill/tap sparkplug hole..

QEV's get fussy about their fill valves.

I tried out a schrader and a presta valve and both managed to set the QEV off as I detached the pump.

Thats why I stuffed a check valve after the fill valve. Less fiddly than a ballvalve and does the job without twiddling things.
