I know that the pipe is steel, but I had always thought that the fittings were malleable iron (the names malleable or cast IRON are misleading, as they both contain a percentage of carbon. Malleable iron contains significantly less carbon than steel, and cast iron contains quite a bit MORE carbon than steel does).
If the fittings are actually steel, this means that I could theoretically take my triggered burst disk gun to 300psi with CO2. I wonder how loud that would be

Isn't 4.03% more accurate?

when u join them with a couple the coupler is going to add another 2 inches..so you are going to have an 8 inch chamber...

well, the nipples are theaded almost all of the way into the coupler so theres only a .75 gap.....so the overall chamber size it more like 7, plus the recucing the sockets....its gunna be pretty big.....but pretty powerfull aswel...

what you guys think of my progress so far..

Are the threads air tight? Or do you have to use PTFE tape?
