Is there a way that you can make a rocket fired out of a spud gun whistle? it would be a really good idea.

You could probably make one of those air-flow whistler things that are on those Nerf footballs. Or, better yet, just rip a whistle of of one.

I think the outcome was, its possible but hard to do without the proper tools and not very cost effective.

have you tried a wooden train whistle? they are almost to easy to make.

...perhaps you could take your standard PVC dart and drill a couple holes through the cap at the top, so the flute-style airflow would cause it to make noise?
A system like this would be a quarter-wave resonation chamber, so keep that in mind if you want to precisely tune them.
